This series of performances recorded live in 1976 marks Mikhail Baryshnikov’s television debut. Recorded shortly after his arrival in the West, the film showcases Baryshnikov at the height of his powers. It also provides a rare glimpse of his celebrated (and famously fraught) partnership with American ballerina Gelsey Kirkland.
